Rich, a former lawyer who switched careers during the pandemic, brings a personal touch to the restaurant alongside his cousin X. Together, they run Minyoli as a small but impactful operation, offering unique and flavorful dishes that reflect their background and passion.
The space is warmly decorated with brick and blonde wood, with a painted ceiling that adds character. The menu is divided into five sections, with “Starters” including dishes like Corn “Ribs,” Fish Cakes, and umami-rich Fried Chicken, all enhanced by a trio of housemade dips.
Though it was busy during lunch on a Saturday, the small team managed to serve the nearly full house with ease. We had the Ganban noodles, which were medium-spicy and served hot with tender beef shank. The Niuroumian Beef Noodle Soup, one of their signatures, came with melting tendon, making it a must-try.
